Because this community is like a family to me I wanted to update everyone on how my mother is doing. After spending more than 12 hours in the ER she was admitted to the hospital for stomach and kidney issues (not going into extreme detail for her privacy). She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 8 months ago and it has moved very fast.

I have been by her side pretty 12 hours a day for 3 days to make sure she knows people love and care for her. In the photo is her adopted sister who is 20 years younger than my mother. She will kill me for positing this photo but it’s the best she’s looked in a while.

The hospital food is barely edible and so I’ve brought her food that I’ve made so she can continue to fight. We are in the process of trying to get her all the help at home when she is discharged.

At this time I am her caregiver and make her medical decisions. I am exhausted but I remain calm. I was invited to NASCARR in Denver to attend a conference for XXY and research being funded by the NIH but couldn’t attend because family first.

Please be kind and gentle towards me as I can’t answer peoples emails, phone calls or messages regarding XXY at this time.

BLOG: Go to the website ❤️. In 2019, Kimberly Beall was pregnant with her third child and waiting for her noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) results. But when her OBGYN called, he asked that she meet him in person instead of talking over the phone.

She immediately began bracing herself for some kind of blow. Anxious and unsure what to expect, she brought her mom along for moral support. It was during that meeting that she learned her son had Klinefelter Syndrome, though she didn’t get much of an explanation.

In our latest blog, we profile John Crespo, a corrections officer in New York City. John shares how his Klinefelter’s diagnosis challenged his identity as a man, and how he fought his way back to confidence. A powerful story on positive masculinity, emotional healing, and choosing to be your own hero.

“When people speak to me, I know a lot,” he says. “But I don’t always know how to place my words correctly.”

At 28, John took the written state exam to join the police force. It took a year for them to reach back out, but the call finally came. In 2017, he started a rigorous three-month training that took everything in him to complete. The physical and academic requirements drove his anxiety through the roof. But he’d promised himself to finish what he started.“I’ve always been sporty and worked out, but the testosterone helped me get my body to change in the ways I want it to. But the change was more so emotional. I’m more confident with my words and have more courage to stand up for myself. I just said, ‘enough is enough,’ and started to change my ways.”

From scraped knees to broken dreams, a mother is the one who teaches her son how to stand back up. She’s the architect of his resilience, the sculptor of his kindness, and the anchor for his spirit. ⚓💙

A father is a son’s first role model, not because he is perfect, but because he shows his son what it means to try, to grow, and to love without condition. His strength isn’t about being unbreakable — it’s about always returning to the people he loves, no matter what. 💙🧡

A mother’s love is the silent, steady force that shapes her son’s entire world. She gives him roots to know where home is, and wings to explore beyond it — all while loving him fiercely enough to stand back and watch him fly. 🪽🌍

A son learns the meaning of loyalty, resilience, and compassion by watching his father navigate life’s storms with unshakable strength and quiet grace. No book or lecture can teach what a father’s love shows in real time: how to be both soft and strong. 💪🧡

Not every throwback is about nostalgia — some are about resilience. I’ve walked through fire, climbed out of dark places, and I’m still here. Stronger. Wiser. Unbreakable. 🔥🧠
