☣️ TRAIN. RESPOND. PROTECT. ☣️

Sailors assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego strengthened their emergency response capabilities today during hazardous material decontamination training.

The hands-on training challenged Sailors to practice critical decontamination procedures, properly utilize protective equipment, and work together as a team.

Training like this is about building confidence, sharpening skills, and ensuring our Sailors are prepared to respond when every second counts.

At NMCSD, readiness starts before the emergency happens. ⚓💪

💪☀️ Always Ready. Always Fit. Always Mission Focused.

Warfighter readiness starts with physical fitness.

Today, 's Health & Wellness Department, in partnership with MWR, launched the Warrior Readiness Training Program (WRTP) with an energizing workout under the San Diego sun.

The WRTP equips Sailors with the training, coaching, and resources they need to build strength, improve endurance, and exceed Navy physical readiness standards—all while remaining ready to deliver world-class health care to active duty service members, retirees, veterans, and their families.

Physical readiness isn't just about passing a fitness assessment. It's about building a force that's prepared to deploy, support the Fleet and Fleet Marine Force, and answer the nation's call at a moment's notice.

Mission ready. Warfighter focused. Always ready. 🇺🇸⚓
