Listening to your guides can often mean doing things that don't seem to make any dang sense in the moment. A quiet voice or feeling, asking you to do a thing, take an action, talk to a person, take a different route, go somewhere different. You never know.
Last week, before an event in San Diego, I was nudged to post in a WhatsApp group for North County (potentially an hour or more away) about the event I was doing at that day. My brain said, it didn't make sense...why would somebody drive that far just to come see me, it's a Sunday, people want to relax. Blah blah blah
When you're not paying attention (or just trying to live your dang life!) it "makes sense" for logic to win. To talk yourself out of it, not listen to that nudge and ignore the voice telling you what to do.
But I've been doing this long enough that I know to listen. Listen to the quiet, insistent voice. Do the thing, even when it seems weird or inconvenient. It's how I ended up doing henna at Coachella... and finding my partner. But that's story for another time. 😉
So I made the post and was contacted an hour later by a mother who saw the post and thought of her child. Her teenage son had expressed an interest in henna and thought this might be a good place to start. I honestly wasn't even sure they'd actually come.
And. I also know enough about Henna to know that when she calls you ... she calls you.
They did come for an appointment and we had a long chat. Who knows if that was the end of the directed interaction or if more will transpire in the future.
But I know I'll be listening, just in case. 💫💜✨️
