There’s a moment in therapy where things finally click.

Not because we uncovered something “wrong” with you

but because you finally understand why you’ve been carrying so much.

For so many anxious women, burnout isn’t just about doing too much.

It’s about constantly managing everyone else’s emotions.
Keeping the peace.
Avoiding conflict.
Being the “strong one.”

Holding everything together so no one else gets uncomfortable.

And eventually, your nervous system pays the price.
These are the moments in therapy that change things because once you understand the pattern, you can start choosing differently.

You don’t have to keep exhausting yourself to earn safety or connection. 🤍

If you’re ready to stop living in survival mode and start feeling more like yourself again, you can book a free intro call through the link in my bio.

If you overthink everything, you’ve probably been told to “just stop.”

But your brain isn’t trying to be difficult, it’s trying to feel safe.

And sometimes that means:
needing reassurance,
wanting predictability,
or taking a minute before you respond.

The goal isn’t to shame these habits out of you…
it’s to understand what your nervous system actually needs.

Which one is yours? 👀

If you’re tired of living in your head, I help anxious women feel calmer and more regulated , you can book a free intro call with me, link in bio. 🤍

If you’re an anxious millennial woman, this probably feels a little too accurate.

You look like you have it together.
You get things done.
You show up.

But internally?
Your brain is running a full-time analysis of everything you said, did, and might’ve done wrong.

It’s exhausting to be “high-functioning” and still feel this anxious.

And no, this isn’t just your personality.
It’s a nervous system that’s been in overdrive for a long time.

Nothing about this means you’re broken. 🤍

If this resonates, save this for later.

And if you’re ready to feel calmer, set better boundaries, and get out of your head, I help anxious women do exactly that.

You can book a free intro call with me!💓 link in bio.

If you’re an anxious millennial woman, your brain is basically a full-time employee with zero supervision.

Like why am I:
• Replaying a conversation from earlier today like it’s evidence in court
• Assuming “lol” had a negative tone
• Checking if they viewed my story for emotional closure
• Creating fake scenarios that ruin my mood instantly

No one is doing more work than my brain… and none of it is helpful.
And the worst part?
It feels productive.

Like yes, let me solve a problem that doesn’t exist so I can feel in control for 3 minutes.
If this is you, welcome. You’re safe here. 🤍
We’re all just trying to relax and accidentally overthinking instead.

Save this for when your brain starts acting like it’s on a true crime podcast again.

If you see yourself in these, you’re not “too much” you’re anxious and trying to feel safe.

Anxiety turns everyday moments into something to analyze, fix, or figure out. So you replay conversations, overthink texts, and question yourself… not because you’re dramatic, but because your brain is trying to protect you from rejection, embarrassment, or getting it “wrong.”

And if you’ve been this way for a while, it can start to feel like your personality.

But it’s not. It’s a pattern your nervous system learned.

Which means it can be unlearned.

You don’t need to become a completely different person, you just need support learning how to feel safer in your own mind.

If this feels like you, you’re not alone. Follow for more relatable content🤍

POV: You’re an anxiety therapist and your client says “no” to all the basics 😅
I know it can feel annoying to hear these questions…

like “yes, I know I should be doing these things.”

But here’s the truth:
When your nervous system is overwhelmed, we don’t start with deep insight.
We start with stability.

Sleep.
Food.
Movement.
Sunlight.
Connection.

These aren’t “small things.”
They’re the foundation your mental health is built on.

You can’t regulate a nervous system that’s running on empty.

We will absolutely get into the deeper work — patterns, anxiety, overthinking

but we start by making sure your body actually feels safe enough to do that work.
If you’ve been feeling off lately, come back to the basics first. 🤍

And if you’re ready for support, I’m currently accepting new therapy clients in California link in bio.

People-pleasing isn’t just being “nice.”
It’s trying to avoid discomfort — yours or everyone else’s.

So you over explain, say yes when you mean no, and take responsibility for how others feel.

When you stop people-pleasing, things shift:

You let people misunderstand you.
You say no without a paragraph.
You stop managing everyone else’s emotions.

It might feel uncomfortable at first…
but it leads to a lot more peace.

If this is something you’re working on, you’re not alone. 🤍

And if you want support learning how to set boundaries without the anxiety spiral, you can book a free intro call with me! link in bio.

So many anxious millennial women weren’t taught how to work with their anxiety…
they were taught how to suppress it.

To be chill.
To not overthink.
To not be “too much.”

But anxiety doesn’t go away just because you ignore it or try to be different.

It shifts when you feel safe.
When you understand what your nervous system actually needs.
When you stop trying to fix yourself and start supporting yourself.

You’re not failing at managing anxiety, you were just never given the right tools.

If this post resonated, save it as a reminder.

And if you’re ready to stop white-knuckling your way through anxiety and actually feel calmer in your day-to-day life, you can book a free intro call with me! link in bio. 🤍

If you constantly feel like you’re rushing through life, your nervous system might be stuck in go mode.

Many of us are so used to living in fight-or-flight that slowing down actually feels uncomfortable.

But slowing down isn’t laziness.
It’s how your body learns that it’s safe.

A slower life doesn’t mean doing less with your life,it means doing things with more presence and less pressure.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately, this is your reminder that you don’t have to move at the pace of your anxiety. ✨

Save this for when life starts feeling too fast.

And if you’re ready to feel calmer and more regulated, you can book a free intro call with me ! link in bio.
