Fear, loss, trauma - so many events and energies in the world these days - can lead to greater separation and isolation.

But as this beautiful story and image tell, we have the powerful choice to remember what matters most and to come back into love, connection and community.

It doesn't have to happen all at once. It can be a matter of taking one small step after another, but little by little we can return to ourselves and to the loving connection that we are designed to experience and enjoy.

The Fire Between Us

The mountains stood timeless beneath a sky painted in rose and gold.

Snow-capped peaks touched the horizon while a quiet river mirrored the fading sun. Along its banks, surrounded by pine forests and the gentle hush of evening, a family of bears gathered around a small fire that danced atop a circle of stones.

An old woman watched from the doorway of her lodge nearby.

Her name was Sani, and she had spent nearly eighty winters listening to the wisdom hidden within nature. While others saw animals searching for food, she saw stories unfolding in silence.

Tonight, the bears reminded her of something humanity had begun to forget.

The larger bears sat facing one another, each holding a fish they had caught from the river. A cub lingered nearby, curious and safe beneath their watchful presence. The fire reflected in the water, creating a ribbon of light that connected them all.

Years earlier, Sani had lost her husband.

Afterward, grief convinced her that life was a solitary journey. She withdrew from friends, avoided gatherings, and spent many seasons carrying her sorrow alone. Yet loneliness, she learned, is a poor teacher. It speaks only of separation while ignoring the countless threads that bind every life together.

As she watched the bears, a realization settled gently within her heart.

The fire was not important because it provided warmth.

The fish were not important because they provided food.

What mattered was the gathering itself.

The sharing.

The presence.

The bears could have eaten separately along the riverbanks. Instead, they remained together as darkness approached, instinctively understanding a truth older than language: survival is strengthened by connection.

The river continued flowing past them, carrying the colors of sunset toward distant valleys. Above, the first stars appeared in the deepening sky.

Sani smiled.

She finally understood why the happiest moments of her life were not marked by possessions, achievements, or victories. They were marked by people gathered around tables, campfires, and conversations—small circles of belonging created against the vastness of the world.

As night settled over the mountains, the fire burned brighter.

And in its glow, Sani remembered that while life may often lead people down different paths, it is love, community, and shared moments that keep the darkness from feeling cold.

For in the end, it is not the fire that warms the heart.

It is those gathered around it.

"The angels come in today to remind us that healing is not a linear journey. It doesn’t have a start, a middle, and an end. It’s more of an ever-unfolding journey towards our experience of wholeness."

Angel Message Monday 🕊️🕯️

Healing is a returning to wholeness. It’s a journey that cannot be determined by a particular event or by the healing of a specific wound, but more an ever-unfolding of your sense of wholeness and connectedness to your body, to your soul, and through your mind.

Healing is such an important part of the spiritual journey, and the angels are very much part of that journey with us. But often, many of us use healing as a way of determining how spiritual we are. We can begin to believe that if we still feel challenged, burdened, tender, or uncertain in some area of our lives, then somehow we have failed or are not yet “healed.”

The angels come in today to remind us that healing is not a linear journey. It doesn’t have a start, a middle, and an end. It’s more of an ever-unfolding journey towards our experience of wholeness.

Along this journey, there will be moments when we feel closer towards what we first imagined as being healed and whole, and at other points, we may feel far from it altogether. But it’s important to understand that every high and every low, every breakthrough and every challenge, can ultimately be leading us closer towards deeper healing and greater connection with ourselves and with God.

In the moments that you feel discouraged because healing doesn’t look the way you expected it to, it’s often the ego trying to measure the immeasurable. The mind wants healing to look a certain way, to happen within a certain timeline, or to completely remove every challenge from our lives. But true healing is often far more profound than that. It’s a deepening of your connection to yourself, your soul, and to the divine presence within and around you.

If you are reading this message today, your angels want to acknowledge how far you’ve already come on your journey. They encourage you to look within and really see that there were times in your life when you prayed for what you have today.

Prayer

“Thank you, God, for sending your holy angels to help me trust in my experience of healing.

Thank you for illuminating within my heart all the parts of my life that have been healing and miraculous.”

The Sun That Watched Her Become
👉 Canvas: https://redwarriorspirit.com/canvas283

The elders said that the sun does not merely shine—it remembers.

It remembers every step taken beneath it, every promise made in silence, every moment when a soul chooses who it will become.

She stood beneath that remembering light, her gaze fixed on the horizon where sky and earth braided into one. The wind moved gently through her hair, carrying the faint echo of distant waters and older voices. She did not turn. She did not need to.

Beside her sat the bear.

Its presence was neither sudden nor strange. It had always been there, though not always seen. Its form carried the language of symbols—curved lines and colors that spoke of strength, endurance, and a knowing that did not require words. Its eyes were steady, reflecting not the world around them, but something deeper within it.

Within her.

She had been chosen long before she understood what that meant.

As a child, she had walked between moments—feeling things others could not name, hearing meaning in the quiet spaces between sounds. The elders watched her carefully, not with concern, but with recognition. They had seen this before. They knew the cost of such seeing.

To carry both worlds was not a gift without weight.

For years, she resisted it.

She tried to belong to the ordinary rhythm of life, to follow paths already shaped by others. But something within her remained restless, like a current that refused to still. No matter how far she stepped from it, it followed—patient, unwavering.

Like the bear.

It appeared to her fully for the first time on a morning when the sky burned gold and the air felt charged with something unfinished. She had gone to the edge of the land, searching not for answers, but for quiet.

Instead, she found truth.

The bear did not speak, yet she understood.

It was not there to guide her somewhere new. It was there to remind her of what she had always carried. The strength she feared, the depth she avoided, the connection she tried to silence—it had never left her.

It had simply waited.

Now, standing beneath the wide and watchful sun, she no longer turned away. The weight she once resisted settled into something steadier—not a burden, but a grounding.

A becoming.

The bear remained beside her, not as a guardian, but as a reflection. A living echo of the part of her that could endure, could listen, could stand without needing to be understood.

And above them, the sun watched.

Not with judgment.

But with memory.

Because in that quiet moment, as she chose to stand fully in what she was, something ancient was completed—not in the world, but within her.

And the sun, as it always had, remembered.

“Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something.”
