We are seeking a full-time Customer Service/Front Desk Receptionist to join our amazing team.
This is a full-time position for the following days:
Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM and coverage of other shifts as needed (sick leave, vacation, etc..).
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
• Minimum of 1-year experience in an office setting
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs & Social Media Apps
• Adaptable in a dynamic work environment
• Ability to build rapport easily with patients, clients, and team members
• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency
• Flexible schedule
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to prioritize & stay organized
• Self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced medical environment
• Take initiative and ownership of work
• Coachable
Responsibilities:
• Greeting patients/clients
• Answering the phones and directing the calls to the appropriate staff member(s)
• Taking messages as required
• Arranging and scheduling appointments for patients and clients
• Contacting incoming referrals to schedule future evaluations
• Determining patient eligibility, relaying general instructions to patients
• Obtaining updates and medical records as needed
• Organizing and researching patient records, extracting needed information, and reviewing documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency within established guidelines
• Obtaining documentation as requested by the physical therapists (test results, prescriptions, referrals, or other documentation not yet filed in records)
• Perform clerical duties in support of the medical and office staff
• Assist in the day-to-day operations
• General medical ethics, telephone etiquette, and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Other duties include laundry and cleaning.
Our office is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. At this time, we are requesting applicants who are available for closing shifts (10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Please DO NOT apply if these hours are not compatible with your schedule.
