In this gentle soft landing meditation, you’re invited to pause, arrive, and rest in a space of warmth and acceptance. Certified MSC Teacher guides us through a loving-kindness practice written by fellow Certified MSC Teacher Armel Law Wraight for members of the LGBTQIAP2S+ community.

At its heart, this practice reflects the universal, deeply human longing to belong, to be accepted just as we are, and to be treated with dignity and respect.,

Whether you’re feeling tender, resilient, uncertain, or proud, this short practice is an invitation to meet yourself with care, belonging, and deep kindness.

💛 A gentle reminder for our LGBTQIA+ community: You deserve kindness from yourself, too.

In moments of doubt, hurt, or exhaustion, self-compassion can be a powerful anchor. These phrases are here to help you pause, breathe, and meet yourself with the care you so freely give others.
✨ I am not alone in this.
✨ My feelings are valid.
✨ I can be gentle with myself right now.
✨ I deserve love and acceptance—especially from me.

Wherever you are on your journey, may you feel seen, and supported, just as you are.

What is Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC)?

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is the practice of treating yourself with the same kindness and understanding you’d offer a good friend. 💛

It has three core elements:
✨ Mindfulness – noticing your thoughts and feelings without judgment
✨ Self-kindness – responding to yourself with care instead of criticism
✨ Common humanity – remembering that struggle is part of being human

Instead of pushing through or beating yourself up, MSC invites you to pause, acknowledge what’s hard, and support yourself in that moment.

Because how you relate to yourself matters most. 🌿

This past weekend, our community gathered in Montréal for the Mindful Self‑Compassion Core Skills Workshop with Chris Germer and Kristin Neff, and our hearts are full.

Together, we explored what it means to meet our moments with tenderness, to turn toward difficulty with courage, and to remember that compassion is a skill we can cultivate — individually and collectively.

We are deeply grateful for the sincerity, openness, and presence each participant brought to the space. When we practice together, we strengthen not only our own capacity for compassion, but the shared field of humanity we all belong to.

May the insights from these days continue to ripple outward — into your homes, your relationships, your work, and the wider world. Thank you for being part of this growing global community of care.

When things feel hard, turn toward yourself with kindness. 💛

Try one of these self‑compassion phrases in a moment of suffering or during your Mindful Self‑Compassion practice:
✨ “This is a moment of difficulty.”
✨ “I’m not alone—others feel this too.”
✨ “May I be kind to myself right now.”
✨ “It’s okay to give myself what I need.”
✨ “I can meet this moment with care.”

Take a breath. Let the words land. Repeat what resonates.
Self‑compassion is a practice—and this moment counts.
