As parents, it's easy to notice a behavior and immediately wonder, "Should I be worried about that?"
The reality is that many things our children do are simply their way of adapting to the world around them.
Instead of focusing on the behavior itself, it can be helpful to ask:
💭 What is my child getting from this?
💭 Is this helping them feel more comfortable, supported, or successful?
When we become curious before concerned, we often uncover opportunities to build skills while still honoring where our child is today.
Progress doesn't always come from correcting a behavior—it often comes from understanding it first.
What's one thing your child does that made more sense once you learned the "why" behind it?
