Endometriosis is a chronic and often painful condition that affects an estimated 1 in 10 women worldwide. Dr. Lisa Johnston, Chief Medical Officer at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Newborns, talked about the condition with Ray from the local organization Rays Your Vibe, which raises awareness about endometriosis.

Tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 19, Ray is hosting the Bloom and Breathe gala by the sea to help connect people with endometriosis to events, educational programming, advocacy initiatives and resources in the community.
