This is my second PRF under-eye treatment combined with PRP microneedling for the full face.
I’ve been dealing with dark circles under my eyes for years, and like many women, I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my skin. I’m not chasing perfection, but I do believe in healthy, strong, good-quality skin.
A lot of people ask why I don’t just put dermal filler under the eyes.
From my personal experience and what I’ve seen working in aesthetics, under-eye filler is not always the best solution. The skin in this area is extremely thin, and filler can sometimes lead to puffiness, migration, unevenness, or a heavy look over time. Many people initially love the result, but months later it can start looking swollen or unnatural.
That’s why I personally prefer regenerative treatments like PRF.
PRF uses your own blood components to help stimulate collagen, improve skin quality, and support natural regeneration in the under-eye area instead of just filling it.
For the full face, I combined it with PRP microneedling, which is great for:
• improving skin texture
• evening out skin tone
• stimulating collagen production
• helping the skin look healthier and more youthful
Right after the procedure the skin is red and swollen, and that’s completely normal. It’s part of the healing and regeneration process.
