How do I know that your body is actually more balanced when you leave?
This "heel to butt" test is a simple check that I do throughout the adjustment in order to see what change is happening in real time.
When someone first lays down on the table I typically see that one leg is longer than the other. This is usually due to imbalances in their body and gives me a way to check in with their system during the adjustment.
I notice things like the amount of tension in one leg versus the other, how well movement travels up the spine when I pull on one heel versus the other, how easily the legs bend, what the pelvis does when I bend the legs, what the ribcage does, how much torsion/rotation are in the feet and more.
During the adjustment I am constantly noticing what changes.
This allows me to make sure we are actually moving you into a state of more harmony and ease. Check ins like these give me confidence that when you leave my office you are truly better off than when you walked in 🙌🏻
