Yesterday, KHC joined NAFCON USA’s call for Filipinos to join to fight for Health Over Profit! Our members joined National Nurses United convening outside Kaiser as we fight to prioritize patients and our communities. As part of this National Day of Action we reiterate as a collective, that we stand for the development for health over profit, justice for immigrants, accountable AI development, protecting Filipino communities at home and abroad from aggressive AI development, and putting patients first. We unite in saying No to Pax Silica and National Nurses United to purge Palantir and AI-driven surveillance from our healthcare and communities.

Calling health students and professionals across the Bay Area as we raise our voices to call for health over profit! We recognize the growing technological development, especially from artificial intelligence, has rapidly proliferated and has large impacts on human and environmental health. Filipinos will be the first to bear such harm with the growing inaccessibility of basic needs and lack of sustainable livelihoods. KHC is excited to announce a partnership that has been in the works for the past couple of months. The Filipino caregiving community who care for so many are in need of care. We are excited to be partnering with UCB PAHC • EST.1986, Migrante Union City, and Senator-Elect Gabby Torres to launch mobile health clinics that will cover physical, mental, and occupational health assessments. KHC echoes the calls for People’s Right to Health Over Profit: No to Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit!
