Flint Healthcare

Flint Healthcare citizenship. Flint is on a mission to fix American Healthcare by solving their biggest problem: not enough nurses.

Flint connects healthcare professionals with job opportunities that include Green Card sponsorship —providing those on temporary status a pathway to permanent residency and U.S. We do this by removing barriers for international nurses to immigrate and build a career in the United States, and we are on track to help a 1,000+ nurses immigrate by the end of next year (2023). We’re a Y Combinator tech

startup, with over $10M raised, and backed by Tier 1 investors such as Haystack, Audacious, and a list of powerful angels from company greats like Airbnb, Twitch and Flexport. Our team is fully remote across multiple countries, and comprised of industry veterans from technology, healthcare, and immigration.

You’ve built a career in healthcare. You show up for your patients, work long shifts, and continue building a life in the U.S.

But in the back of your mind, there’s still one question:
What happens when my work authorization expires?

For some healthcare workers, the right job can also open a path to green card sponsorship.

As a Filipino nurse, I used to think that once you get hired by a hospital in the US, your green card would automatically come with it.

But that is not always how it works.

Having a job here, being allowed to work, and having a permanent path to stay in the US are three different things.

With deportation and immigration enforcement constantly in the news lately, I think more healthcare workers are realizing how important that difference is. You can already be here caring for patients, paying bills, and building your life, but if your ability to work or stay is still temporary, there can still be a lot of uncertainty about what happens next.

Now some healthcare workers are here through temporary visas or work permits, and each situation comes with its own rules and timeline. The important thing is understanding whether your current situation gives you a long-term path, not only permission to work right now.

That is why it helps to look into your options early. Flint helps eligible healthcare workers who are already in the US connect with healthcare facilities that may offer employer-sponsored green card opportunities through EB-3. Flint helps with the job match and process, while the healthcare facility hires and sponsors the worker.

Having a green card gives me a sense of security that I do not take for granted. It is not only about being able to work. It is knowing that I have a more permanent foundation for the life I am building here.

If you’re already working in US healthcare under temporary work authorization and still wondering about your path to a green card, comment FLINT and I’ll help you check if you may qualify.

Green card sponsorship sounds promising. But who is actually hiring you matters.

For healthcare workers searching for long-term stability in the U.S., sponsorship is only one part of the decision. You also want to know that you’re applying for a real, permanent position with the healthcare facility where you’ll work.

Through Flint, eligible healthcare workers interview directly with hospitals and healthcare facilities for full-time, direct-hire roles.

If hired, Flint helps coordinate the employer-sponsored green card process and supports both you and the facility with immigration, licensing, and relocation.

No upfront candidate fees. No salary deductions.

Trying to figure out green card sponsorship can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already working hard in healthcare.

A lot of healthcare workers know they want a more stable future in the U.S., but the process can bring up so many questions:

✅ Am I eligible?
✅ What kind of employer can sponsor me?
✅ Do I need to move?
✅ Who handles the immigration process?
✅ What happens after I apply?
✅ How do I know if the opportunity is real?

That’s where Flint helps.

Flint supports qualified healthcare workers by connecting them with U.S. healthcare employers that may offer green card sponsorship through full-time roles. The goal is to make the process feel clearer, more organized, and less overwhelming.

For qualified candidates, this can include:

✅ Employer-supported green card sponsorship
✅ Job opportunities with healthcare facilities
✅ Support through the process
✅ Relocation support in some cases
✅ No cost to candidates

You don’t have to figure everything out alone.

There’s a structured path happening in the background that most people don’t fully see at first. Understanding that timeline can make a big difference in setting the right expectations.
