We were honored to welcome Edward P. Miranda as our recent aesthetics lecturer and instructor for our injectables and Botox skills lab! Dr. Miranda is a UCSF-trained reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon and Medical Director of Pacific Plastic Surgery Group in San Francisco.
He shared his personal approach to noninvasive facial aesthetics and discussed how the sequence and strategy of injectables can significantly impact outcomes. We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn from his expertise and experience! 💉💉🤩

Congratulations to Dr. Scott Hansen and Dr. Esther Kim on receiving Plastic Surgery Foundation Combined Pilot Research Grants! 🎉👏

Dr. Hansen’s awarded project, “AI Ultrasound Mapping for Tissue-Sparing Hidradenitis Suppurativa Surgery,” and Dr. Kim’s project, “Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) for Plastic Surgery: A National Pilot,” highlight the incredible innovation and leadership coming out of our program.
