San Francisco City Clinic San Francisco City Clinic has been serving the Bay Area since 1911. We are closed on all major holidays. If HIV-positive, take HIV medications daily.

Our mission is to improve our community’s sexual health by providing free or low-cost sexual health care. Please note – all of our phone numbers have recently changed. If you are unable to get through please call 628-217-6600 to be directed to the correct number

The San Francisco Health Department wants to remind folks that you can stay both healthy and sexual with the following:

Get VACCINATED (http://sfcdcp.org/vaccinesgaybimen.html) to prevent illnesses affecting gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men including hepatitis A and B and meningococcal (meningitis) infections (https://www.cdc.gov/msmhealth/viral-hepatitis.htm). Remember to get tested for HIV and STDs; using condoms can help prevent these infections (https://gettested.cdc.gov). If HIV-negative, you can take PrEP (https://www.pleaseprepme.org) and PEP (http://www.sfcityclinic.org/services/hivservices.asp ). Drop-ins are accepted based on availability. If you are coming to the clinic for a PrEP follow-up visit, please call ahead to talk to the PrEP team: 628-217-6692

Not every patient will be tested for HIV and other STIs. It depends on your sexual practices and drug use. Call ahead if you would like to find out what tests you will be offered at your visit: 628-217-6600

You will see many safety measures in place at your visit:
Symptom screening at entry for all visitors
Our staff and patients must wear face coverings at all times
Physical distancing - If our waiting room reaches capacity, you may need to wait outside the building
