What is a suppository? A suppository is a medication prepared in a small, smooth form for re**al or vaginal use. It can melt or dissolve at body temperature, allowing the therapy to be absorbed locally or systemically. We offer different suppository sizes, of which "mini-inserts" are our most popular for vaginal delivery of hormone therapy due to their small size and ease of use.

At Koshland Pharm, our trained compounding team of technicians prepares each prescription to its specific formulation and strength. We carefully measure the ingredients, blend them into an appropriate base, fill individual molds, and complete quality checks before dispensing.
