Register Now: A Health Center's Journey to Ending Hepatitis: The North East Medical Services Experience Webinar | Sep. 29

Join Amy S. Tang, MD, Director of Viral Hepatitis and TB Programs at North East Medical Services (NEMS), for an in-depth look at how one of the nation's largest community health centers has built a comprehensive hepatitis B (HBV) prevention and treatment program. This webinar will highlight NEMS' approach to integrating HBV screening, vaccination, monitoring, treatment, and patient outreach into primary care through electronic health record (EHR) optimization, quality improvement initiatives, multidisciplinary care teams, and population health management. Attendees will also receive an overview of simplified hepatitis B management guidance for primary care providers. Through NEMS' real-world experience, participants will gain practical strategies and implementation approaches that can be adapted to strengthen hepatitis B prevention, screening, linkage to care, and long-term management within their own health centers.

Did you know? Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance made in the body to build cells and make vitamins and other hormones. However, having too much cholesterol can pose a serious health risk such as increasing the development of heart disease and stroke. If you want to learn more about cholesterol, please attend the National Cholesterol Education Month Workshop at the NEMS Health Education Department.
