On Sunday June 21, the longest day of the year, we’re spending three hours together in San Francisco making art of the Sun and the Moon.

KP and Chelsea, the hosts of Parts & Charts, will host this previously virtual workshop in REAL LIFE! For a small group of people who also want to get to know their inner luminaries more deeply.

We’ll start with a little astrology — a grounding in what your Sun and Moon actually are, no background needed — and then move into a guided group meditation where you’ll meet them as figures, with faces and postures and whatever they want to tell you.

After that, the table opens up: watercolor, collage, ripped paper, scissors, glue, whatever your hands reach for.

All supplies provided, no skill required, we’re here to have fun! Feel free to bring supplies of your own — but we will have watercolor paints, paper, and collaging materials ready for use.

Some of what comes through will feel tender. Some of it will be genuinely funny, in the way that meeting yourself sometimes is. Both belong. The making is where they get to live in the same room at the same time.

Carla has been tracking the moon since the beginning of 2020. Not casually. Daily. She knows when the moon enters a sign because her body tells her before the app does. She schedules her podcasts, her travel, her client calls, and her recordings around it. I booked this podcast because of his Aries moon, she tells us, twenty minutes in. There are no coincidences here.
What she has built, over five years, is not a system she’s selling. It’s a relationship — with the moon.
