My studio is conveniently located in San Francisco's Mission District, and my usual massage is a soothing Swedish-based combo that may include deep tissue, myofascial release, accupressure, and energy work. I'm passionate about helping people feel more comfortable in their bodies, and have worked with queer folks, people with disabilities, people of size, and transgender people. Touch is vitally i
mportant - people should be able to receive massage on a frequent basis as an integral part of their lives. It fulfills me to see clients leave my studio feeling grounded and relaxed, after arriving with tension, stress, or unhappiness, and I strive to help people care for their bodies more deeply in simple ways with regular touch. I came to massage therapy after working for many years in HIV prevention and public health and I bring skills learned in those fields to my work. I'm a graduate of the 900-hour Massage Therapist and Health Educator Program at the National Holistic Institute College of Massage Therapy in San Francisco, I have a good knowledge of anatomy and I'm happy to work with specific body parts and issues or injuries. Member AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association).
