I’m excited to share something I’m part of. I've been invited to speak in an upcoming online summit called Animal & Human Awakening: How Interspecies Connection and Communication Are Key for Our Collective Co-Evolution.
As you know, I have been leading retreats with horses, so this has been a fun event to do.

A few years ago, I hired a business coach because I thought she was the answer. I thought she had the KEYto growing my business. I thought she knew something I didn't know. I thought if I just followed her advice, everything would work out. The truth was, I gave her my power. I thought she was better than me, if I am truly honest.

Well the story does not end well.

In the end, I lost a lot of money. Tens of thousands of dollars. (gulp)

The biggest loss I had was not the money. The biggest loss was realizing how much power I had given to her. I literally gave her my personal power.

I had stopped trusting myself and started trusting someone else more than I trusted my own intuition.

As painful as that experience was, it taught me something important. That wasn't the first time I had given my power away. In fact, I had been doing it for years.

When I was younger, I was a magnet for people who loved my light. They loved my energy, my generosity, and my willingness to help. And if I'm being honest, I liked being liked. I liked helping people. I liked being needed. Unfortunately, that combination made it easy for me to attract people who took more than they gave.

Over and over again, I ignored my intuition. I overlooked red flags. I put other people's opinions ahead of my own knowledge. I looked outside of myself for validation, approval, and answers. Every time I did that, I gave away a little more of my power.

Maybe you've done this too.

Maybe you've given your power away in a relationship. Maybe you've given it to a family member, a boss, a coach, or someone you believed knew better than you did. Maybe you've spent years second-guessing yourself and looking outside yourself for answers when the truth was already inside of you.

This is why I am so passionate about teaching personal power.

Personal power isn't about being controlling or getting your way. Personal power is trusting yourself. It's knowing who you are. It's listening to your intuition and honoring what it tells you. It's being connected enough to yourself that you don't need someone else to tell you what is right for your life.

One of the biggest mistakes I see women make is looking everywhere except within themselves.

When you become disconnected from your spiritual side, it's easy to believe the answer is outside of you.

So you keep scrolling.
You watch another show.
You plan another vacation.
You stay busy.
You take care of everyone else.
You overgive, overwork, and overextend yourself, hoping that somehow you'll feel better, happier, or more fulfilled.

Because you've drifted away from yourself.

You've drifted away from your intuition.

For me, spirituality is about having a relationship with the deeper part of yourself that knows who you are and where you're meant to go.

Can I ask you something?

When was the last time you slowed down long enough to connect with yourself?
