What is actually inside The SAZ Method?

Three steps I have used with clients for more than a decade, now in an app you can open any day.

Self-Awareness: notice the pattern before it runs you.
Action: one small, specific step, not a total life overhaul.
Zenith: the moment the new habit holds without effort.

It is the personal growth companion I wished my clients had between sessions.

Live now, 20% off through September 13:

An App By Saloomeh Saz — Psychotherapist, founder of Pathways with Saloomeh, and creator of the SAZ Method, guiding 20,000+ toward healing and connection.

Almost every marriage that ends quietly ends the same way. Not in a fight. In the stretch where two people stop noticing each other out loud.
“We need a witness to our lives.”
Susan Sarandon says it about her own marriage, and it is the truest thing anyone says in that film.
What she is describing is not romance. It is the actual job of a partner.
There are billions of us, and most of what we live happens where nobody is looking. The early mornings. The effort no one claps for. The days that look like nothing from the outside.
Notice what she does not say. She does not say we need someone to admire us. Admiration shows up for the highlights. A partner stays for the mundane, which is where almost all of a marriage actually happens.
Being a witness is not a feeling. It is a practice.
Notice your partner out loud today.
Ask about the part of their day nobody asks about.
Then stay for the answer.
And let yourself be seen too. That part is harder. It asks us to stop performing at home.
A witnessed life is not a larger life. It is a life someone stayed for.
What is one ordinary thing your partner notices about you?

We were never lazy.

We spent our whole lives apologizing. For being late, for putting things off, for only coming alive when the deadline was already touching us. Then Dr Gabor Maté explains what nobody told us: we aren’t born with a sense of time. The brain has to build it. And for a sensitive child growing up in a stressed world, that development gets interrupted, along with the motivation circuits that run on dopamine.

That’s why pressure is the only thing that wakes us up. We aren’t undisciplined. We’re waiting for the chemistry that lets us begin.

But understanding the past should free us, not excuse us. Make time visible. Set the alarm for leaving, not arriving. Start before you feel ready, because dopamine follows action, it doesn’t lead it. And follow your curiosity, because this brain does its best work where the interest is real.

What develops late can still develop.

You Were Always the Birkin🤍

I want to talk about value today. Not the kind you earn. The kind you already are.

Picture a Birkin in the hands of someone who has never seen one. They have no idea what they are holding. They swing it around. They drop it on the pavement. They leave it in the dirt. The worth did not change. The person just never understood what was in their hands.

I see this every day in my work. People who are extraordinary, handed over to someone who cannot see it.

Here is what happens next. You notice the carelessness. Then you start explaining yourself. Then you lower the bar. Disrespect becomes the baseline. You stop expecting effort. You stop expecting care. And somewhere along the way you start confusing being tolerated with being loved.

That is the danger I want you to see. It was never that they could not recognize your value. It is that you slowly stopped recognizing it too.

So let me say this clearly. When someone mishandles you again and again, that is not a misunderstanding. That is information. People show you with their hands exactly how they see you. Believe their behavior, even when their words say something softer.

The day you stop handing yourself to people who do not know what they are holding, the fog starts to clear. You remember the woman you were before someone taught you to forget her. And once you remember, you cannot go back to being mishandled.

Your standards reset on their own. The wrong people stop fitting. Not because you pushed them out. Because there is no longer room for them.

You were never something to be handled carelessly. You were always the Birkin.🤍

With you on the path,
Saloomeh
