If you believe Narcan should be available over the counter, let the Feds know!

Narcan is a life-saving medication that reverses opioid overdose. If you haven’t heard, 2023 is already breaking records for 100% PREVENTABLE overdose deaths. I’m looking at you, New York!

Leave your comment for the Federal Register and let them know that anyone should be able to access Narcan without a prescription. While Californians already have access, many across the country don’t — especially in states most impacted by overdose deaths.

Ready to change your relationship with drugs or alcohol? We're starting a new, online harm reduction group Friday October 8th 10-11:30am.

This 20-week group is for adults who want to have a different relationship with drugs and alcohol and who want to do this work in a nonjudgmental environment using evidence-based treatment. Moderation management, responsible drug use skills, and self-compassion are among the skills taught.

This group will help you:

👉 reduce consequences associated with the use of alcohol and drugs
👉 learn mindfulness skills to slow down and interrupt the desire for immediate gratification
👉 address feelings of shame and guilt
👉 “surf” urges
👉 establish practices to cope with difficult emotions such as anger and grief
👉 develop alternatives to drug use
👉 improve the quality of your relationships, including with yourself
👉 learn responsible drug use skills
👉 cultivate a lifestyle that meets your needs and wants

The curriculum is based on Power Over Addiction: A Harm Reduction Workbook for Changing Your Relationship with Drugs and is required for participation in the group. Digital copies of the workbook are also available for purchase. Cost of the group is $200 intake (sliding scale available), $75 each group, and $35 for the workbook.

Please contact Danielle at [email protected] to schedule an intake or book a free, 15-minute consultation below.

The next group won't start till the spring, so if you're ready to change your relationship to drugs or alcohol join now! Reach out with any thoughts, questions, or concerns. We'd love to hear from you.
