Since 1987, Maitri has offered 15-beds, serviced by skilled professionals and dedicated volunteers who offer nursing and personal care as well as emotional and spiritual resources to help meet the special needs associated with HIV-related illness. This non-profit program in San Francisco is focused especially on those who might otherwise be without adequate resources or care.

Healing doesn’t stop when you leave, and independence shouldn’t mean doing everything alone. 🧡

Since 2019, more than 43 Maitri residential care clients have joined BRANCH, our aftercare program that provides ongoing support, resources, and community connection as clients transition into independent living.

BRANCH helps our clients stay healthy, independent, housed, and connected to a community that cares.

Today is DAF Day, a nationwide day of giving that encourages people to put their Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) to work supporting causes they care about. Your generosity helps us continue providing compassionate care beyond our residential walls.
