Taking Side Effects Seriously | Drug-induced Liver Injury: Diagnosis and Management

Taking side effects seriously - an interactive and evidence-based webinar series will highlight various TB treatment-associated adverse effects and provide management strategies to effectively reduce barriers to treatment completion and support both patients and clinicians. Session 2 of this two-part training on drug-induced liver injury (DILI) will discuss management of abnormal liver tests during TB treatment as well as the diagnosis of drug-induced liver injury and its management.

SIGN ON TODAY! Urgent action is needed to ensure access to appropriate tuberculosis (TB) medications for children in the United States. In response, the NSTC Pediatric Formulary Work Group and TB Alliance are sponsoring a pediatric TB drug access sign-on letter directed to House Energy and Commerce leaders and Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee leaders.
Please sign this letter to ask that Congress work with us to immediately allow the United States to procure pediatric TB medications through the Global Drug Facility (GDF) or other countries with similarly stringent regulatory authorities and ultimately to develop a pathway for FDA approval of dispersible pediatric TB drugs so they may be readily available here in the United States.
