As always, I’m a little behind on our daily check-ins with our little 1938 time capsule but I couldn’t skip these birthdays! 😅

Something extra special is that two of these four dates have names handwritten by Jean Vergho herself. 🥹 I can’t help but wonder who they were to her? Friends? Family? Someone especially close to her? Every handwritten name gives us another tiny glimpse into Jean’s life almost 90 years later. 📖✨

If one of these is your birthday, how accurate was your 1938 birthday reading? 💛

P.S. “Gaiety” means cheerfulness, happiness, and being lively or fun-loving. Just a little 1938 vocabulary lesson for us. 😂📚

🖤 Have you ever heard the heartbreaking story behind Apache Tears? 🛘⛏️

After doing quite a bit of research on Apache Leap, I learned that this story may actually have roots in a real and tragic historical event not simply a legend passed down through time. 😔 While the exact details have never been definitively documented, learning this made Apache Tears even more meaningful to me.
