Self-forgiveness is not about excusing harmful behavior; it’s about transforming it. When we become trapped in cycles of shame and self-condemnation, we are not growing; we are reliving. Healing requires intention, accountability, and a willingness to move forward differently.

In Lori’s latest article, she outlines four important steps to self-forgiveness. She reminds readers that no one can change the past, and what defines us is not the mistake itself, but what we choose to do afterward.

Self-compassion is the act of treating yourself with the same care, patience, and understanding that you would offer someone you genuinely care about. If it is so easy to give others grace, why is it so hard to allow ourselves the same?

In Lori’s latest article, she reminds readers of why self-compassion is essential and is not selfish. She shares tips on how to make self-compassion a regular practice, and over time, those moments can add up to a relationship with yourself that feels steadier, safer, and more sustainable.

February is often considered the month of love. While many are savoring chocolates, admiring flowers, and swooning over poems, there are others quietly navigating a very different experience: missing someone they love.

In Lori’s latest article, she reframes grief as the feeling of having a piece of your heart missing, whether through death, divorce, distance, or other life changes. She offers gentle guidance on navigating grief, encouraging emotional honesty, self-care, and using meaningful expression as pathways toward healing.
