Once upon a time, Carol Hadlock and Don Hadlock gave us an extraordinary gift. Through the Process Therapy Institute, they modeled allowance, freedom, and a deep sense of abundance when we were still learning how to trust ourselves as clinicians. We found courage when we felt unsure and creativity when we felt stuck.

What we didn’t always see was what they were holding behind the scenes.

They covered the administrative work. They absorbed the financial and organizational costs. They made it possible for The Process Therapy Institute to exist in a way where the burden of “how this runs” stayed largely invisible—so we could focus on learning and becoming.

Today, we are in a different chapter.

Since our founders passed, legal and administrative requirements for nonprofits have grown significantly more complex. In order to remain responsive and sustainable, PTI has had to build out systems, processes, and infrastructure that were once quietly carried by a few.

We are now doing the important work of making the invisible visible—naming and supporting the labor required to keep PTI alive.

And this is where you come in.

Your tax deductible dollars go towards supporting an organization, people and a psychotherapy model which prioritizes these human-centered values:

Prioritizing the internal and relational realms
Letting go of agenda
Allowance and flow
Following process in the here and now
Authenticity
Growing at one’s own pace

If PTI has impacted your life or your work, we invite you to help sustain it for those who come next.

Our goal is to raise $120k by the end of the year. We have already raised over $10.7k in donations. Help us bridge the gap.

In addition, PTI is on Benevity! Do you or your family member work at a corporation that uses Benevity for corporate giving? Please consider donating to PTI through Benevity to take advantage of employer matching funds.

With appreciation for what we’ve received—and care for what we are continuing to build together,
