Knowing the signs that death may be near can help caregivers feel prepared, supported, and less afraid during one of life’s most difficult moments. ❤️

At our hospice, education is a key part of compassionate end-of-life care. Colby Perez, Nursing Director, makes it a priority to provide 3-4 in-services each month for our community partners, equipping facilities and homes with the knowledge and confidence to recognize changes and respond with comfort and dignity.

Our goal is holistic support bringing together medical care, emotional support, resources, volunteers, spiritual care, and necessary equipment so patients and families never feel alone at the end of life.

Because when caregivers are prepared, everyone receives better support, comfort, and peace. 🕊️

We were thrilled to team up with Amedisys (Home Health) and The Key (Home Care) to treat Blyth’s and Joyce’s incredible care team at Novelle Retirement Community with root beer floats. We also stayed for their staff meeting to hear the thoughtful strategies they use to care for residents.
