Medicare Advantage plans continue to use 3rd party data mining companies to ransack patient records to see what diagnoses codes they can use to try and upcharge the government. They call it Medicare Risk Adjustment and it's not mandatory unless it's expressly written in your contract. They do this even if those diagnosis codes are not active or actual problems that need addressing.

I don't even accept or contract with Medicare Advantage plans, and yet they still try to get my patient charts.

I will continue to deny them access to my patients' information and keep them from trying to defraud CMS and the government. All providers should refuse to comply with this overreach and stop taking Medicare Advantage plans where possible.

Hoosegow Day shenanigans in San Juan Capistrano!👢🤠🐴

If you're caught walking the streets in town today without the requisite Western gear, you get thrown in the hoosegow (jail) by members of the fiesta association Swallows Day Parade
Little did this gentleman know that if I find residents outside without sunscreen, I throw them in jail!

Hoosegow Day is a tradition in our city that precedes the Swallow's Day parade. Tomorrow marks the 66th annual parade that is the nation's largest non-motorized event that draws people worldwide.

Catch me before the parade passing out sunscreen samples to keep everyone protected from the sun!
