You not only have a private room but also access to the shared gym and front office/ waiting room areas. We are a group of women business owners sharing space and collaborating in all things wellness. Physical Therapy and Breast Cancer. Physical Therapy should be an integral part of the breast cancer journey. Most of my patients are referred by friends or other BC survivors. Very few come from doctors. This is a huge hole in our medical system. So what do we do for these women?
-Scar tissue mobilization
-Restore full shoulder/ trunk mobility
-Reduce post surgical pain and swelling
-Assess for Lymphedema
-Return to daily life and exercise
-Educate to prevent re-occurrence.
