It’s always an honor to represent CPMA at the annual California Medical Association Gala. Meeting and creating relationships with other healthcare providers, advocating for our profession, but more importantly for the betterment of our patients.

It’s Game Day Ya’ll!!! From premed at Alabama to Doctors in California. It’s a small world especially when you trust where life takes you with all your hard work in between. Extremely cool to see how far our lives have come since college. Roll Tide Yall!

Another Balance Health Conference in the books. Grateful I get to work along friends, colleagues, mentors I’ve known since the beginning of my training as a podiatrist. They let me be me and in this world that is priceless. Bonus: Cypress Hill was performing at our hotel pool “INSANE”

No matter how far up I go in this leadership journey, it’s the students and residents that keep me grounded. Grateful for the opportunity to give back and remind me why I continue to stay involved and help fight and advocate for our profession. They are our future and I believe it is essential to support their endeavors just as much as our own. (Bonus: they keep you young 🤣)

Productive CPMA Board Retreat and Strategic Planning. It so refreshing being in a room full of people who care about the health, wellbeing and future of our profession as Podiatric medicine providers. We practice medicine and surgery specifically to the foot and ankle and it’s amazing how humbling it can be to keep people on their feet!

Another great Alameda/Contra Costa Podiatric Medical Association local society meeting as we’ll celebrate Dr. Tim Dutra’s retirement. We have all blossomed into our leadership roles because of you. Thank you so much for your years of service to podiatry. Thanks to Footwear etc for sponsoring our meeting.

Still getting use to the mic but all the networking and relationships building truly paid off with our Young Physicians/Beginner Practitioners Networking event at this year’s Western Foot & Ankle Conference. Our future is rooted in supporting and mentoring our young physicians to be successful not just for themselves but for our patients. This doesn’t just translate to young physicians…networking and relationships building should be happening in every stage of your career.

I feel extremely grateful to APMA leadership, my ELP colleagues, CPMA, and all the friends and colleagues who helped me make this day fun and exciting. Especially our talented surgical lecturers and company rep sponsors.
