These are complex times. There’s a lot of distress, fear, and emotional weight — not just personally, but collectively. It can feel like we’re carrying more than we know what to do with.

This is why we’re creating this space. ✨

A place to slow down, feel what’s there, and work with it — rather than pushing it aside. Through practices like journaling, meditation, breathwork, movement, and expressive arts, we create space to process, release, and reconnect.

We also come together in a relational way — witnessing, supporting, and holding space for one another as we move through what’s real.

This is an invitation to come as you are, and to give yourself time to reset, reconnect, and find a sense of steadiness within.

⚡️ We are living in a wide emotional field right now — love, grief, anger, hopelessness, courage, grace, kindness… often all in the same day.

The real question is: how do we navigate it without losing ourselves?

For me, resilience comes from awareness, grounding, and connection — and also from humor, softness, and shared humanity.

That’s what Claudia Weitkemper and I are creating space for in our experiential journey in San Leandro.

A place to slow down, ground, and metabolize what we feel together — through breathwork, sensory awareness, movement, and relational witnessing.

Some are heavy. Some are light. Some are loud, others quiet.
But all of them are part of the human experience — especially in these intense times we’re living in.

The question isn’t how to avoid what we feel.
It’s how to navigate and metabolize the full range of emotions moving through us — individually and collectively.

That’s why Claudia Weitkemper and I are coming together to offer a guided experiential journey — a space to ground, connect, and work with the energies that are present in our lives right now.

Anyone else feeling a full range of emotions lately? ⚡️

Our emotions are like a keyboard with a full spectrum of keys — fear, anger, grief, anxiety, love, joy, kindness — that interplay as music in our lives. In the turbulence of our times, learning to meet and metabolize these energies is possible with presence and practice.

What I keep returning to is the importance of awareness and connection. The goal isn’t to get rid of difficult emotions, but to notice, stay tuned and relational, witnessing with honesty, grace and courage.

🌿 This is the work I care deeply about — learning how to stay engaged with life, even when it’s challenging, and how to be in relationship with others while we do it.

On May 16 in San Leandro, we’ll be gathering for an experiential afternoon of breathwork, movement, meditation, expressive practices, and relational witnessing as part of our workshop, From Shadow to Light: Facing Fear, Awakening Courage.

We are living in intense times marked by fear, loss, disconnection, and immense uncertainty, emotions that call upon or courage, kindness, compassion and authentic, relational connection.

✨ From Shadow to Light: Facing Fear, Awakening Courage is an experiential, embodied journey through breath and sensory awareness, expressive practices, visualization, and relational witnessing — supporting a return to honesty, inner awareness, and authentic connection.

This workshop is an invitation to slow down and turn toward what is real. To stay present with what arises, rather than turning away from it. Together, we will create a space where emotions can be acknowledged, expressed, and met with care. 🙏🏼

Grief doesn’t always look dramatic.

Sometimes it looks like “I’m fine.”
Sometimes it looks like moving through the day without much room to pause.
Sometimes it lives quietly, without having had a place to be spoken or shared.

We don’t always have spaces where grief can land.

Breathing Through Grief is a small, in-person workshop created with that in mind — a place to slow down, breathe, and gently turn toward what has been carried, often without enough support or attention.

Through breath, somatic awareness, and shared presence, we create a space where you can feel, notice, and be witnessed with care.

There is no need to justify what you feel, or to compare it to anything else. Only an invitation to come as you are.
