As the new school year begins, don’t forget one of the most important school supplies clear vision! 👓📚
Many children don’t realize they have trouble seeing because they assume everyone sees the same way. A comprehensive eye exam can help detect vision problems early, supporting learning, reading, and confidence in the classroom.
Give your child the best start this school year by scheduling a comprehensive eye exam. 💙

Today our team at Flores Optometry Inc. had the privilege of volunteering at the Special Olympics at Santa Clara University, providing eye exams to incredible athletes. 💙👓

Vision plays such an important role in everyday life—and in sports! We were honored to help ensure these amazing competitors have the clear vision they deserve, both on and off the field.

A huge thank you to the Special Olympics for allowing us to be part of such an inspiring event. The determination, positivity, and spirit of these athletes reminded us why we love what we do.

Seeing beyond the eye… it’s about helping people reach their full potential. ❤️

POV: Your eyes are still burning, blurry, and feeling like sandpaper… but the prescription eye drops we gave you are sitting untouched in the bathroom cabinet 👁️💧😂

Patient: “My dry eyes are getting worse. Dr Tekie: “Are you using the drops?”Patient: “...I used them once.” 😭

Dry eye treatment only works if you actually use it consistently! Your tears need teamwork too.

POV: your optometry office can’t watch the Meta Gala without diagnosing everyone 👀💀

Half these outfits looked like ocular conditions straight out of our exam lanes:
✨ “Serving advanced cataract chic”
✨ “Giving retinal detachment realness”
✨ “That dress is definitely diabetic retinopathy inspired”
✨ “Why does this dress look like an ocular migraine ?”

And can we talk about Bad Bunny looking exactly like our sweetest 78-year-old male patients who come in wearing suspenders, smell faintly like aftershave, and say:
“Doc, I only need my glasses for reading… and driving… and TV.

POV: when one of our remote team members finally shows up in person 👀

• Putting voices to faces like it’s a season finale reveal

Remote is great—but nothing beats the energy of having the whole team together 💼✨

10/10 would schedule more “you’re real?!” moments again
