The Council consists of up to 30 Board of Directors and hundreds of general members. The Council addresses policies and services for individuals with developmental disabilities; housing, employment, special education,transportation, legislation and health care. Council efforts are coordinated with agencies working on behalf of individuals with developmental disabilities: the State Council on Devel

opmental Disabilities, Bay Area Office; Regional Center of the East Bay; school districts and adult service providers. The Council is staffed by a full time Coordinator and a full time clerk.
