San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society The San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society is a non-profit organization open to all persons interested in the Society's objectives.

SLOCGS is a genealogical society with various levels of membership including individuals, families, and more. Society meetings are usually held the first Saturday of even-numbered months at 10am, alternating between virtual Zoom and in-person at the Independent Order of Oddfellows (IOOF) Hall in San Luis Obispo. Marcus Waltz created the collection from articles originally published in the Cambrian, many taken from oral accounts.
