Meet Anthony. 💙

Just a few weeks into Community as Medicine, Anthony says the program has already made a meaningful difference in ways he never expected.

Through movement, support, wellness coaching, and community connection, Anthony found tools to help manage stress, improve his sleep, build confidence, and feel supported during a difficult season in life.

Community as Medicine, an evidence-based program created by Open Source Wellness and offered in partnership with the YMCA, is designed to help patients build healthier habits and stronger connections beyond the clinic setting.

Because sometimes healing starts with feeling seen, supported, and part of a community. ✨

This National Preeclampsia Awareness Month, we’re highlighting tools that can help support safer, healthier pregnancies. ❤️

In the U.S., preeclampsia affects about 1 in 25 pregnancies. Early detection and ongoing monitoring can make a critical difference for pregnant patients and their babies.

TrueCare is expanding Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) within our Women’s Health Services OB program, helping eligible patients monitor their blood pressure from home between visits.

Through the program, patients can take blood pressure monitors home, making it easier to track readings between visits and stay connected to their care team.

A Pap smear could save your life. 🩷

Cervical cancer screenings are one of the most important ways to detect changes early, often before cancer develops. And while many patients worry that Pap smears will hurt, they’re typically quick, routine, and only mildly uncomfortable.

Our nurse practitioner, Kelly Genovese, explains what to expect during a Pap smear and what the tools used during the exam are for, helping make the experience feel less intimidating.
