Who should avoid taking the abortion pill?
• Anyone with an IUD in place
• Have or may have an ectopic pregnancy
• Woman over 10 weeks pregnant
• If you have Porphyria
• Chronic adrenal failure
• Taking blood thinners
• Have bleeding disorders
• Taking steroid medications
• Are allergic to mifepristone or misoprostol

It is advised to get an ultrasound to confirm gestational age and confirm that the pregnancy is not ectopic.
Birth Choice provides complimentary, limited OB ultrasounds to ascertain gestational age, detect a fetal heartbeat, and confirm the pregnancy's location in the uterus.
