Parkinson's disease isn't just a movement disorder; anxiety, hallucinations, and cognitive changes are often just as impactful for patients and families.

Dr. Christina Young, PhD (UC Davis) is a neuropsychologist developing novel assessments for early cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, alongside amyloid and tau PET imaging research. At the SFNS Fall Symposium: Parkinson's and Neurodegenerative Conditions in Clinical Practice, she'll focus on the non-motor side of PD care, a topic that gets far less airtime in training than it deserves.

Dr. Sirisha Nandipati (Kaiser San Rafael) trained under Dr. Irene Litvan during her movement disorders fellowship at UCSD, following residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
