The vision o
f the Chinese Health Initiative is to:
1. Help people learn about different health issues and services that are available, empowering them to make decisions about their health and the health of their loved ones.
2. Advocate for services to be in the appropriate language and culturally appropriate, encouraging more people to seek services within their community, which can also help prevent disease before it happens.
3. Work together with the community to increase outreach and referrals. On this page, CHI will raise awareness of general health-related, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues, along with available resources among the Chinese community to Chinese San Mateo County residents.
