Matrix provides parent-to-parent support, information, resources, and training to families whose children may learn or develop differently from others. Our offices will be closed in observance of the Labor Day holiday

Labor Day is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated on the first Monday of September.

We will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026. Our Helpline will also be unavailable during the holiday.

This holiday honors and recognizes the American labor movement and the works and contributions of laborers to the development and achievements in the United States.

We will reopen Tuesday September 8, 2026. We wish our families a safe and enjoyable Labor Day.

El Día del Trabajo es un día festivo federal en los Estados Unidos que se celebra el primer lunes de septiembre.

Description: Come join us for a fun-filled evening of games and activities catered to neurodiverse individuals. This event aims to create a welcoming and inclusive space where everyone can participate and have a great time. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect!

This event is for those who want to make friends and would like an environment where social pragmatics and/or anxiety are supported.

Parents and caregivers are asked not to participate. The event is held in a semi-private room within the library. Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay in the main library. Please relax and enjoy, volunteers are here to assist!

Solano County SELPA CAC 2026 – 2027 Meeting Schedule

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is a group of parents, educators and community members who are concerned with the educational needs of children with disabilities.

The Solano County CAC serves in an advisory capacity to the Solano County SELPA (Special Education Local Plan Area) regarding community opinions, concerns, and suggestions pertaining to special education and related services to students with disabilities.

Meetings are from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm (on Thursdays)
