Her commitment to this field is deeply personal, having been in long-term recovery herself, which gives her insight into the nature of untreated addiction and the recovery process. Utilizing her educational background and professional and personal experiences, she provides tailored support to individuals and their families, addressing their unique needs. Patricia holds a Master's Certification in Addiction Studies, licenses as a Licensed Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (LAADC), and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-II). She is recognized as an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor by the IC&RC (I.C.A.D.C). Pike is a board member of the Association of Intervention Specialists (AIS) and actively contributes to her field by providing professional training across Canada and the United States. In the face of the global addiction crisis, the need for certified and credentialed interventionists like Ms. Pike is critical. Her expertise spans complex substance abuse disorders/addictions, mental health challenges, family services, and working with diverse populations, including First Nation communities, business leaders, music/entertainment professionals, and employers. It has never been more crucial to have effective and ethical intervention approaches from a certified and credentialed interventionist. My commitment to raising the standard of intervention certifications across the industry and its various specializations has also led to the creation of my own educational program for professionals. This program aims to help professionals become the best practitioners possible, increasing the chances of successful interventions and meeting clients' needs. Patricia is a staunch believer in fairness, equality, and the power of self-dignity in recovering from alcohol and/or drugs. She dedicates herself with relentless energy and passion to empower individuals and families, showing that recovery is possible for everyone. Everyone has a story, and my goal is to be a voice for the voiceless.
