🍂🍦 Fall flavors are always better when they're made together!

Residents in our Bridgehaven memory care neighborhood kicked off October with a hands-on pumpkin ice cream activity that brought plenty of smiles along the way. From measuring ingredients and stirring the mixture to adding the ice and salt, everyone played a part in creating a delicious seasonal treat.

The best part? Enjoying the finished product together. The homemade pumpkin ice cream was a sweet reward for a fun afternoon filled with teamwork, laughter, and all the cozy flavors of fall. 🎃✨

🎃✨ Halloween creativity was on full display! Residents spent time crafting festive door hangers, using colorful decorations, seasonal designs, and plenty of imagination to bring their creations to life.

Conversation, laughter, and creativity filled the activity as residents added their own personal touch to each piece. No two door hangers were exactly alike, making the finished decorations a wonderful reflection of each resident's unique style.

These handmade creations are adding a festive touch throughout the community and helping everyone welcome the spooky season in a fun, creative way. 👻🍂

Residents enjoyed a wonderful lunch outing to Gestalt Haus in Fairfax, where good food, laughter, and great conversation were on the menu. Getting out into the community and sharing a meal together made for a fun afternoon filled with friendship and meaningful connections.

🎃 Which pumpkin would you choose? 🎃 Residents in our Bridgehaven memory care neighborhood got creative during Art n' Sip, designing festive pumpkin faces full of personality and charm. From silly smiles to cheerful expressions, each pumpkin was as unique as the artist behind it!

🎨🌉 A Day of Art and Discovery 🌉🎨

Residents enjoyed an inspiring outing to the iconic de Young Museum, taking a scenic drive over the Golden Gate Bridge before exploring the museum’s impressive collection of artwork. From captivating exhibits to creative masterpieces, residents spent the day discovering and appreciating incredible works of art.

This enriching experience encouraged intellectual engagement, sparked meaningful conversations, and provided plenty of inspiration. There was so much to see that residents could have happily spent hours exploring all the museum had to offer! ✨🖼️

👩‍🍳Bridgehaven memory care neighborhood residents had a blast in their "How It's Made" program as they made mini German apple cakes! Everyone pitched in to make it happen—CeCe read the directions aloud, Cathy and Bill tag-teamed the mixing and folding, and Deanna was a fabulous presenter. It was a true team effort from start to finish, and the results were absolutely delicious! 🍎🥧

🏖️☀️ Residents headed south to San Francisco for some much-needed rest and relaxation. They packed a delicious picnic, spread out near the water, and spent the day walking to take in the beautiful sights.

A change of scenery lifts spirits, fresh ocean air rejuvenates the soul, and sharing an outdoor meal creates wonderful memories. Walking along the beach also provides gentle exercise while the sights and sounds of the waves offer a calming, peaceful escape. It was the perfect getaway!

Birthdays are always worth celebrating, especially when it's someone who brings so much heart to our community. Recently, the team gathered to celebrate our wonderful Spiritual Care Director, Claudette, with a special birthday celebration, complete with a beautiful homemade cake baked by Executive Director Tracy.

It was a joyful opportunity to recognize Claudette for the compassion, dedication, and positivity she shares with residents, families, and team members each day. We're so grateful for everything she does and hope her year ahead is filled with happiness, good health, and many reasons to celebrate. 💜🎂
