Since next week's office hours will kick off with the them of ethics, I have a question for you:

Do you sometimes find yourself in an ethical dilemma? I do, often.

Do I take care of me or of you?
Do I tell the person the (helpful) information I know?
Do I get trapped in ethical dilemmas because it was so overwhelming?
​
I don't think the answer is ALWAYS BE PERFECT which is the subtle or not so subtle message my brain gives me.
​
I think part of the answer is to be AWARE. Do I have to have all the answers or be always perfectly ethical by YOUR (the global your) standards? NOT ME. I have to be thoughtful and conscientious toward both ME and the global you.

Parent Orientation at Boston University Medical School. 💙

I’m standing in the back of a huge presentation surrounded by parents, moving my body to help keep my emotions moving, too.

I’m dropping my child across the country again for another 4 to 8 years. That’s a lot for this sensitive mama’s nervous system!

So I started squatting. Tiny mini squats. Lots of them. And then I thought, Hey, this is perfect for the “Squat Challenge for Sensitives”! 😄

The beauty of this challenge is that squats don’t have to be big, perfect, or done at the gym. A few little movements count.
You can find opportunities to squat almost anywhere.
When could you squat today?
