Contour, Whiten, and Bond - This smile was transformed in 2 visits and no tooth structure was harmed in the process. This 15 year old patient came to our office after finishing treatment with her Orthodontist. She had peg laterals and wanted a more balanced smile she can be confident about. With her young age we wanted to offer her a conservative approach utilizing direct composite restorations with no tooth structure removal. She also had a clear idea about the smile she wanted to have and brought in a photo of the smile and lateral incisors she had hoped for. We used this photo as our baseline.
Worfklow:
1. Tissue contouring w/ Gemini laser
2. Scan with our Trios scanner
3. Took some initial photos (Forgot to take a natural smile PreOp - PPE - COVD19 photography game is off 😩)
4. Created and delivered whitening trays based on printed models
5. Patient whitened her teeth at home utilizing Opalescence for 10 thirty minutes sessions
6. Sent the files to a design center to create a digital wax up based on the photo
7. STL file of design sent back to us within 24 hours
8. Printed design locally with Pro printer
9. Fabricated matrices
10. Placed direct composite veneers on the lateral incisors and a little edge bonding
11. Secured another happy patient 🤩
