I’m not sure I’ve seen a more remarkable athlete! Thanks Sean Loughlin! You really do have strength for every situation ✊

Sean’s story and triumph over the odds of being born and living with mitochondrial disease is deeply inspiring.

I often tell parents how much I empathize with them and their struggles to make informed decisions about vaccinating their children. The current signal-to-noise ratio is unfavorable towards vaccinating children in our media dominated world today and unfortunately so. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) remains steadfast in its vaccination recommendations for children and I concur. This is informed by the privilege of my training/education together with clinical experience gained over almost 30 years in health care across diverse patient care and geographic settings around the world. Hopefully this post from the AAP on vaccines helps parents seeking validated scientific information. Thank you - Dr. Vaughan
