It is with deepest sympathy that the staff and management of Wheeler’s Funeral Home announces the passing of Ms. Sharmin Pinkston.

Ms. Sharmin Pinkston entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

Celebration of life service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 12:30 PM at Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church Event Center, Atlanta, GA.

On May 29, 2026, at Emory Midtown Hospital, Atlanta, God in His wise providence, saw fit to call Vanessa Alexander home to rest with Him.

Public viewing will be held at Greater Springfield Baptist Church, 721 Jones Ave., Atlanta, GA, on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 12:00 - 6:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Greater Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Tracy Wheeler Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Lincoln Cemetery, 2275 Joseph E. Boone Blvd., Atlanta, GA.

Deacon Freddie Mathis Blocker, affectionately known as “Bill”, departed this life on Friday, May 15, 2026 at Wellstar MCG Health, Augusta, GA.

Family will be receiving friends beginning on Wednesday, May 20 - Friday, May 22 from 4:00 - 9:00 PM each evening respectively.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
