Congratulations to Teresa Moore, our June Employee of the Month!
The BGIC waiting room has been refreshed and redecorated, thanks to Teresa's initiative, creativity, and hard work! Marian Martin, Director of Emergency Services, wrote this message of appreciation for Teresa:
“I would like to take a moment to recognize Teresa Moore for her outstanding dedication to improving the patient experience at Bonner General Immediate Care. As many of us remember, the BGIC waiting room was bright, but very stark and sterile white appearance. Teresa envisioned something more—an environment that would feel calming, welcoming, and supportive for our patients from the moment they walk in.
She took it upon herself to design a more relaxing space, using AI‑generated images to help guide the vision for the updated waiting room. Teresa spent countless hours of her own time visiting local thrift stores, thoughtfully selecting décor, and coordinating the purchase of a few new items. One of the most striking additions is the large photograph of Lake Pend Oreille that now welcomes patients as they enter the clinic.
The result is a warm, softly lit, and peaceful waiting room that truly enhances the BGIC patient experience. This transformation would not have happened without Teresa’s creativity, initiative, and personal commitment to making a difference. Thank you, Teresa, for going above and beyond for our patients and for turning your vision into reality. Your work has made a lasting impact.”
