✨June Instructor Spotlight: Chelsey Peacock✨

☀️Morning Ritual
Meditation before anything else. Even just two minutes of sitting quietly before the day starts sets the tone for everything.

☕️Coffee, Tea, or Green Juice?
Coffee, always and forever. Black Americano.

🥗Post-Yoga Snack
An acai bowl or smoothie from Heartbowls, plus avocado toast.

🎧Current Song or playlist Obsession
Coming off a recent trip to Costa Rica, I’ve been on a personal playlist called Coastal Groves 2.0 lots of Latin trap and reggaeton vibes, on repeat.

🌲Off the Mat
I have a full-time job, and when I’m not on my mat I’m hiking with my dog and husband, traveling (or deep in planning the next trip), catching live music, and spending time skiing or on the lake.

🪷Something You Might Not Know
My last name is Peacock and I named my yoga business Mayura, the Sanskrit word for peacock. It wasn’t accidental.

💫Three Words
Present. Adventurous. Intentional

🧘What Brought Me to Yoga
A meditation therapist recommended hot yoga, and it was love at first sweat. It completely changed my life, not just getting back into my body, but finding a home base where I can turn inward and find real peace.

🎓Training
I completed my 200-hour YTT in 2013 and 300-hour YTT in 2018 at Om Ananda in Fort Collins, CO. Since then I’ve pursued continuing education every year, most recently studying with Jason Crandell and Janet Stone.

💛My favorite pose
Half pigeon or anything that lengthens my hip flexors since I sit a lot for my job.

🌿How I Want Students to Feel
Grounded, centered, turned inward and free from whatever roles they walked in wearing.

🕊️Biggest Lesson
The mat has taught me that you can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself, set boundaries, and trust the process even when, especially when, you can’t see where it’s going.

✨May Instructor Spotlight: Ann Neal✨

☀️Morning Ritual
A home yoga practice every morning. My nervous system relies on the calm that mindful movement affords me and I gain inspiration for the upcoming class.

☕️Coffee, Tea, or Green Juice?
A cup of French roast, paired with New York Times’s daily puzzles. Puzzles challenge my intellect, help me to think outside the box and strengthen my memory.

🥗Post-Yoga Snack
A fruit salad with yogurt, cinnamon, walnuts, maple syrup.

🎧Current Song or playlist Obsession
Yoga has introduced me to many different music artists from all over the world. I listen to music that supports balance, equanimity, & presence.

🌲Off the Mat
I’m a maker. From watercolor to wool to willow, I explore many artistic mediums.  I grow basketry willow and weave it into willow baskets. It is a very long process from planting to harvesting to drying to weaving.

🪷Something You Might Not Know
My husband and I are walkers. We have taken several walls up to a month long. Walking is very grounding. It affords us a relationship to a place that is richer and deeper than any other mode of travel.

💫Three Words
Creative. Caring. Adventurous.

🧘What Brought Me to Yoga
I was originally curious about yoga for its ability to calm and regulate a nervous system completely overrun by the effects of stress, responsibility, and trauma.

🎓Training
I completed my YTT at WE Yoga in 2020. I have been teaching since graduation. I have completed trainings in Trauma Informed Yoga & Nervous System and Restorative Yoga through Yoga Medicine.

💛My favorite pose
Malasana. So many people sit in this deep pose to work or eat. It is grounding and open and I feel deeply connected and somewhat primal when in the pose

🌿How I Want Students to Feel
A feeling of wholeness that through the movement, the breath, and the collective goodwill, they have been able to gather themselves unto themselves.

🕊️Biggest Lesson
How to move through challenging times, events, and interactions with grace. To breathe. To be curious. To ask questions. To be tolerant, forgiving, & empathetic, especially to myself.

Mother’s Day at WE Yoga: A Practice of Nurturing with Nicole Murray 🪷
Sunday May 10th 8:30-10 am

This Mother’s Day, we gather to honor the many ways we give and receive care.

Motherhood isn’t one story, it’s many.
It lives in those raising children, those longing to be, those who have lost, those who mother in quiet, unseen ways, and those who simply show up each day with love, compassion, and presence.

This class is an invitation to celebrate the nurturing energy within all of us.

✨ A gentle, heart-centered flow

✨ Grounding breathwork + moments of reflection
✨ Space to honor, release, and receive
✨ Optional intention setting for who or what you’re holding in your heart

Come solo, bring your mom, your chosen family, your children, or anyone you love.

Whether this day feels joyful, tender, complicated, or somewhere in between you are welcome here.

Let this be a space to soften, to connect, and to be held in community 🤍

✨April Instructor Spotlight: Tara Rapoport✨

☀️Morning Ritual
4am everyday and it starts the night before. My clothes are laid out, breakfast is planned. Breakfast is always a smoothie bowl with my homemade granola. Straight to the gym by 5:15am. Morning pages/journaling when I get to my office before seeing clients.

☕️Coffee, Tea, or Green Juice?
Double dirty Matcha Latte with almond milk is the way to my heart. Evans Brothers Coffee does it best!

🥗Post-Yoga Snack
My go-to is the Perfect Morning Smoothie (+ vanilla protein) from Heart Bowls.

🎧Current Song or playlist Obsession
The song I have on repeat that I can't stop singing is: "I went back to Ibiza", Mike Pozner. Thx for that one Kelly. I find inspiration in music everywhere. I'm also a huge Trevor Hall fan and loved seeing him live!

🌲Off the Mat
Taking workout classes is one of my favorite pastimes. Hiking. Paddle boarding. Snowboarding. Skate skiing. Teaching Spin classes. Road biking with my Girl Gang. Walking with girlfriends. Cooking. Eating out. Spending time in Alaska with my husband. And I love thrifting.

🪷Something You Might Not Know
I have a 30 year old son. I was a single mom. After graduating Nursing School, I gave birth to him at 19. He's my favorite person in the world to hang out with.

💫Three Words
Music. Love. Connection.

🧘What Brought Me to Yoga
The fun people at WE. I used to think yoga was boring, until I met the WE gang. Fun friends that have turned into family.

🎓Training
I did my 200 hour Yoga training at WE in 2021. I have 20+ years experience in teaching Group Fitness. I'm a WayFinder certified LifeCoach, ACE certified Personal Trainer, Pilates, Barre and Spin just to new a few!

💛My Favorite Pose
Sugarcane. Working on my Dancer.
My love to hate: Chair! Who doesn't?!

🌿How I Want Students to Feel
Elevated. Inspired. Stronger. Sexier. Connected. Empowered.

🕊️Biggest Lesson
As a recovering perfectionist, these two lightbulb moments dropped by my favorite instructor Nicole M were huge for me: "Let the falls be part of the flow" and "Let it be Messy"

✨ Tara teaches Barre on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:15 and Sculpt on

🧘🏼 What Brought Me to Yoga
Grief…I thought yoga would be an escape, but it turned out to be an incredible tool for processing
