This is one boy that many FLL families will recognize.
Polar - the boy who gave us pups and lineage with some of the most amazing temperaments.

If you got the chance to meet him, you would’ve noticed, 1) how much he LOVED to snuggle and 2) how much he LOVED being moms (Rosie’s) dog. He took this role seriously and loved every training session and earned his CGC easily.

While he wasn’t a certified therapy dog, that didn’t keep him from being EVERYONE’S therapy dog and working to make their day just a little bit better. Everywhere he went with us, he knew who needed his time and snuggles and would seek them out.

He produced some incredible pups, including numerous therapy and service dogs, and his legacy lives on in his direct line of boys (Storm, Chase, Ice). If you have a white/light yellow pup from FLL, they likely go back to our sweet boy Polar.

🐾 Charlie says: Keep those paws protected! ☀️🔥

We work hard to desensitize our service dogs to wearing boots so they're ready to protect their paws when the pavement gets too hot.

Before heading outside, remember: if it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws. Booties or a walk during the cooler parts of the day can help keep your pup safe and comfortable.

Stay cool, stay safe, and give those puppy feet the protection they deserve! 🐶❤️

“My heart is broken… i wanted to let you know that i lost Luigi yesterday am. He was the best dog i will ever have had the chance to have. He was always happy and helpful and was by my side 24/7. He has helped me through my mental health struggles and i honestly can’t imagine my life without him. Thank you so much. 💔”

Oh Captain, my Captain!

The fox red boy who single-handedly has helped to establish our current line of Fox red/yellow females for bringing in new generations at FLL.

His sweet and loving temperament, while still loving to retrieve and have fun are easily passed down to his progeny - characteristics we just love to see in our puppies. Captain is retired, but there’s always a possibility of pups from him in the future with the right gal ❤️🐾

“Hello Friends,
It is with joy that we, our friends and family check your web site. I never tire of seeing your beautiful adults and puppies. We also enjoy seeing Johnny Red with "the boys".

Johnny Red and Dany are doing well. They are a joy for us and for all who meet them. We recently had family here from OH for Grandma's Marathon, with one of them running the marathon.…. My niece and great niece spoiled the dogs for the entire week they were here with brushing, massages, and puzzles.

I have loved (and still miss!) every Lab I have had. But these two are the most social of all. Our dogs have always gotten along well, but these two love being together. We must have at least a hundred napping and cuddling pictures. They never take bones or food from each other. They continue to love the morning puzzle time, which is followed by grooming. Johnny amazed our guests with his puzzle skills. Dany is quieter, but spunky in her own way and so loving, wanting to be with her people. Dany is frequently admired when we are hiking or walking for her sweet ways and her cuddly-looking white coat. That wagging tail never stops! Must say Johnny Red is amusing with his combination of goofy, but also so very bright! He loves routines! He is a handsome Lab!

Cannot thank you enough for these two. It is hard to believe they are 8 already! They are amazing. The pictures are of Dany's birthday back in June (she sometimes wears a hat but not this time!) and one of many cuddling pictures....under the DR table, keeping an eye on events in the kitchen.

Hope you are all doing well. You certainly give your Labs a wonderful and loving start in life.

For this week, we are going way back to our first official stud dog here at FLL.
Booker ❤️🐾
The sweet and kindhearted soul of a dog who loved to hunt, and was truly Randy’s dog. He produced some incredible pups for us over the years, and if you have a white or yellow pup from us, it’s very likely that puppy goes back to Booker through his daughter, Bella (Angela’s girl). Our boys Dickens, Storm, Chase, and Ice all go back to him.

Many of you might recognize this familiar face. If you got a chance to meet this handsome dude and/or bring home one of his puppies/grandpuppies, you know that temperament, head, and loving personality keeps getting passed along each generation. Noble was Larissa’s 4H dog, Randy’s hunting partner, and LOVED going to lakes every chance he could get. He was also the best snuggler. He was retired to an AMAZING home where he was spoiled and loved (including lots of lake time!) till it was time to cross rainbow bridge. This boy was truly a dual purpose Lab in that he really could do it all.
He put his stamp on our line of chocolates here at FLL, and we are thankful we have had the privilege to love him and his future generations.
