Good food, great company, and a little front porch relaxation! 🍽️🍂 Springvale Assisted Living residents wrapped up their final lunch outing of the year with a delicious trip to Cracker Barrel! From comfort food to browsing the country store, it was an afternoon well spent. And don't worry, there are still plenty of adventures ahead! 🚌💛

🐾🌭 TOP DOG COOKOUT & 50’s HAPPY HOUR! 🎶🕺

We’re taking a trip back to the fabulous 1950s for an afternoon full of hot dogs, corn on the cob, chili fries, good tunes, and nostalgic fun! 🍔🌭

Our residents enjoyed a classic Top Dog Cookout, followed by a rockin’ 50’s-themed Happy Hour featuring toe-tapping music, retro treats, and plenty of smiles! 🎸🥤

From poodle skirts and rolled-up jeans to jukebox favorites and old-fashioned fun, everyone got into the spirit of the era! ❤️

It was a sock-hoppin’ good time filled with great food, great music, and even better company! 🥳

🌊🍦 Picnic & Ice Cream Adventure! 🍦🌊

We enjoyed a beautiful day out at Lexington Harbor with a relaxing picnic, fresh air, and plenty of great conversation! 🧺☀️💙

And of course, no summer outing is complete without a sweet treat! We headed over to Bunny’s Custard for delicious ice cream to top off a wonderful day. 🍦😋

✨💆‍♀️ National Senior Citizens Day Spa Day! 💆‍♂️✨

We celebrated our amazing seniors with a day of pampering, relaxation, and a little extra TLC! 💖 Residents enjoyed soothing spa treatments, facials, and a fun paraffin wax hand dip, leaving everyone feeling soft, refreshed, and oh-so-relaxed! 🖐️🧖‍♀️

It was the perfect way to celebrate the wisdom, stories, and wonderful people who make our community so special. 🌸💗

Our Hawaiian Grill Party was the perfect way to soak up some sunshine and island vibes! 🍍🌺🔥 Our residents had fun enjoying delicious grilled ham and pineapple, great conversation, and plenty of laughs. Everyone enjoyed pineapple upside down cake for dessert!

Good food, great friends, and a little Hawaiian spirit made for an unforgettable afternoon! 🥳🌴🍹

Save the date! It’s a 5k/mighty mile poker fun run hosted by Stonegate Village and put on by Building Ties. All proceeds go towards supporting respite grants for Sanilac County residents. There will be grand prize winners, raffle baskets, food, and fun! Register using the QR code and buy a shirt through Stolikers store. We have some amazing donations so far, and will post soon. 🎡🎟️ The Stonegate County Fair! 🎟️🎡

The fair came to Stonegate Village! Our residents enjoyed a day filled with funnel cakes, caramel corn, elephant ears, laughter, games, and plenty of memories. ❤️

From the sights and sounds of the fair to spending time together, it was a wonderful day celebrating all the fun that makes fair season so special! 🍿🎠🎪

🌸💐 A Day at Hale Farms! 💐🌸

We headed to Hale Family Farms for a beautiful day of picking fresh flowers! 🌷🌼 Our residents chose their favorite blooms and then get creative making their very own gorgeous bouquets.

Nothing says summer quite like fresh flowers, sunshine, and spending time together! ☀️💐 Look at the beautiful bouquets our residents created! Thank you so much Sue for having our ladies out!❤️

🎡🐄 Stonegate Village Goes to the Sanilac County Fair! 🐄🎡

We had a fantastic day at the Sanilac County Fair! Our Stonegate Village residents enjoyed soaking up the sunshine, checking out the exhibits, seeing the animals, and taking in all the sights and sounds of the fair. 🍿🎠🐴

There were plenty of smiles, great conversations, and wonderful memories made along the way. ❤️ We love getting out into the community and enjoying special days like this together!

🏁🌎 THE FINAL LEG OF THE AMAZING RACE! 🗽🎸🤠

We’ve reached the FINISH LINE! 🏆 Our Amazing Race finale took us from the bright lights of New York City to the heart of Nashville!

🗽 We kicked things off with a fun NYC Taxi Driving Challenge, putting our driving skills to the test! 🚕
🇺🇸 Then we headed to Ellis Island for fascinating trivia and facts shared by Devin Irion from Seasons Change Home Health Care, Hospice, and Private Duty. We learned, laughed, and traveled back in time and had a visit from Lady Liberty herself!

🤠 Next stop: Nashville! We celebrated with a Boot Scootin’ Social complete with a little moonshine tasting and plenty of country spirit! 🥃👢
🎶 And what better way to cross the finish line than with an amazing live Nashville concert featuring Stacey Lee Music ! 🎤🎸
Thank you to Knead Bakery Sandusky for providing loaded teas to keep us hydrated in the sun!

Thank you to Sanilac Medical Care Facility and all our community who came and made this event wonderful!

What an incredible week of adventure, teamwork, challenges, laughter, and memories! ❤️

🌎🏁 AMAZING RACE – DAY 4: SOUTH AMERICA! 🦙🌿

Our Amazing Race adventure continued today as we traveled to the vibrant sights and sounds of South America! 🇵🇪🇧🇷

Our travelers visited an alpaca farm where our residents got to feed and learn about alpacas! They then got creative making colorful rain sticks, took on a fun llama obstacle course, and even learned some Spanish with Steph! 🦙🎶🇪🇸

It was a day full of laughter, learning, creativity, and plenty of South American adventure! 🌎❤️ Thank you to Lazy "B" Alpaca Ranch for letting us come out and visit, feed the alpacas and learn about them!

Adios for now… the Amazing Race continues! 🏁✈️
